Please find below a bit more information to help you know more of what to expect and find the best match. I adapt my teaching to whatever suits best what my client would like to learn and in what environment.
Nursery Clubs
Ages: 3 - 4 ½ yrs
Duration: Half an hour
Where: Nurseries
What is Involved: In groups of 8 - 10, children will be involved in interactive learning through singing*, stories, arts and games.
Examples of what is Learnt: Beginner sentences, counting (up to 20), animals, colours, parts of the body.
Primary School - Lunch time Club
Ages: School Years 1 - 6
Duration: Half an hour
Where: Primary Schools
What is Involved: In groups of 8 - 10, children will have fun learning through a variety of activities, games, and singing*.
Examples of what is Learnt: Above but more in-depth; advanced counting (up to 100), larger variety of subjects e.g. food, holidays.
Saturday Club
Ages: 5 - 11 yrs
Duration: 1 hour
Where: My home
What is Involved: A highly interactive learning experience in groups of 4; baking, painting, crafts, games, activity sheets, singing*.
Examples of what is Learnt: Counting (up to 100), larger variety of subjects e.g. food, clothes. The aim is so that when they reach secondary school they’re not nervous about learning French and have the fundamentals that gives them the very best platform for their learning.
Private Tuition - Children
Ages: 5 - 12 yrs
Duration: 30 min / 1 hr
Where: My home
What is Involved: In pairs, often 2 friends/class mates, they will learn through a variety of games, verbal activities & worksheets.
Examples of what is Learnt: Similar to above; a foundation of French language. For the older children; a more structured understanding e.g. verbs, tenses etc. giving them the ability to understand how to formulate their own sentences in the correct way.
GCSE & A-Level Support
Ages: 13 - 18 yrs
Duration: 1 hour
Where: My home
What is Involved: One-to-one we go through anything they are unsure of. Making it as clear as possible in the way that the child prefers, all the while following the curriculum.
Examples of what is Learnt: Any and everything; general helping to support them through their studies to ensure they get the best grades possible.

Private Lessons - Adult
Ages: 18+
Duration: 1 hr / 1 ½ hrs
Where: Various
What is Involved: One-to-one French conversation, reinforcing grammar/vocabulary.
Examples of what is Learnt: Overall French language conversation, specialising in using the correct colloquial language.

Adult Group Club
Ages: 18+
Duration: 1 ½ hrs
Where: Client's home / The Lytton Arms
What is Involved: I teach a variety of different groups (4 - 10) ranging from beginners to advanced. French conversation but in a more relaxed fun atmosphere, adapting my lesson according to the levels within each group. Most recently I have started hosting a social beginners group at The Lytton Arms in Old Knebworth.
Examples of what is Learnt: Overall French conversation, specialising in using the correct colloquial language.
